Trek 4300 disk 2012 model-just bought 3 weeks ago. Hydraulic Hayes disk brakes- a disaster squealing like a stuck pig- then one of the disks fell out on the ground, no back brake then. Has anyone else had a problem like this? I am 68 and need a soft saddle for medical reasons as well as comfort. e saddle that comes with the bike must have cost all of 25 cents, long , narrow, and hard as the hobs of hell-virtually unusable> This is a grave disappointment as I thought I had really made a good choice and at 650 euro it should have been of better quality all round.
